What to include in a bug report

• The page you used, for example the photo cleaner or the PDF cleaner
• Your browser and operating system, such as Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Windows
• The file type and rough size, for example a 12 MB PNG
• What you expected to happen and what happened instead

Please do not send us your file

BeforeShare never receives the files you clean, and we do not want copies of them. Describe the problem instead, or send a harmless test file you created yourself. Never email us documents that contain personal data about you or anyone else.

What we cannot do

• Recover metadata that has already been removed from a file
• Confirm whether a picture was created by a person or by an AI model
• Give legal advice about disclosure duties, evidence, or copyright
• Access, inspect, or delete files on your device or on another service
